LasMeta Integrates Chainlink VRF and Chainlink Automation To Help Power Lucky Draw Games
On 21.08.2022, we integrated Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF) into LasMeta to hold random lucky draw events. By integrating the industry-leading decentralized oracle network, we were able to access highly scalable, configurable, and gas-efficient randomness on-chain.
Additionally, to support the continued growth and maturation of our project, we have decided to expand our integration with Chainlink Automation, a smart contract automation service. By integrating Chainlink VRF + Automation, LasMeta is now underpinned by a tamper-proof random number generator and reliable automation service built to enhance the user experience.
The Continued Growth of LasMeta Through Chainlink Service Support
First of all, we have successfully completed the Chainlink VRF and Chainlink Automation integrations on Ethereum mainnet, and after the initial exchange listing of our yet-to-be-launched LASM token, we will push the button to start and maintain our lucky draw games on a regular basis.
Helping Secure LasMeta Lucky Draw Games With Chainlink VRF
The accuracy and security of LasMeta lucky draw games must be unquestionably transparent. It is imperative for us to provide the user with the proof that data about game results is independently verifiable.
This is what Chainlink VRF provides Web3 developers and users. The service works by combining block data that is still unknown when the request is made with the oracle node’s pre-committed private key to generate both a random number and a cryptographic proof. The LasMeta smart contract will only accept the random number input if it has a valid cryptographic proof, and the cryptographic proof can only be generated if the VRF process is tamper-proof.
This provides our users with automated and verifiable assurances directly on-chain that randomness used in LasMeta lucky draw games is provably fair and was not tampered with by the oracle, outside entities, or the LasMeta team.
Outsourcing Lucky Draw Maintenance With Chainlink Automation
We plan to leverage Chainlink services in every development leg of our project.
We recently integrated Chainlink Automation, a highly reliable and decentralized smart contract automation service, to help start and settle lucky draw rounds and distribute winner payouts — all in an autonomous manner.
Some core benefits of using Chainlink Automation include:
✦ Highly reliable and decentralized automation
Chainlink Automation helps ensure transactions are identified and confirmed quickly even during periods of heavy network congestion by leveraging Chainlink’s battle-tested transaction manager.
✦ Time-tested infrastructure
Projects that use Chainlink Automation are able to eliminate in-house automation infrastructure costs, reduce resources spent on DevOps, and increase speed and efficiency.
✦ Seamless automation
A dedicated automation protocol helps us to scale faster, from zero to millions of transactions, and avoid the challenges that come with building and maintaining the infrastructure needed to reliably automate smart contract functions.
In addition, within our LasMeta VR Poker Gaming Platform that we are developing, we plan to use the combination of Chainlink VRF and Chainlink Automation in the production, distribution, and automation of mystery boxes that will be randomly dropped to players.
“Chainlink is the industry’s most reliable and proven oracle solution. Chainlink services already add immense value to our project and will help us reach the places we deserve to be as LasMeta.” — Mert Eren Eröz, CEO & Founder.
About Chainlink
Chainlink is the industry standard for building, accessing, and selling oracle services needed to power hybrid smart contracts on any blockchain. Chainlink oracle networks provide smart contracts with a way to reliably connect to any external API and leverage secure off-chain computations for enabling feature-rich applications.
Chainlink currently secures tens of billions of dollars across DeFi, insurance, gaming, and other major industries, and offers global enterprises and leading data providers a universal gateway to all blockchains.
